What a busy few weeks. Mom fell on August 15, her 54th wedding anniversary, sustaining a terrible tib-fib oblique fracture requiring surgery with placement of a titanium rod, steel plate and three screws. Some 19 days in a local nursing home for rehab. And now home a week, but unable to negotiate her walker means lots of care from me. I'm happy to be able to provide it and grateful I can but it definitely keeps me busy.
I hope to get back to some regular sewing soon.

Blogging To Document Sewing And Life Events
I've decided to attempt to make a blog posts on a much more frequent basis. For one, I began doing more garment sewing in the past couple of years and also, I think it would be nice to reflect back on what thing were going on in my life, even if the things aren't always good.
Now that my stepdaughter, Jamie Lin, and her family have moved just a mile away, I plan to sew some children's clothes for the first time in years and I certainly want to document that. I'll see how interested I remain when I have to learn the ins and outs of posting pictures and such.
